Alyssa Lynch brings over 30 years of expertise in education, operations, and strategic planning. Her diverse career includes roles as a high school business teacher, school administrator, and an 11-year tenure as Superintendent in Silicon Valley. Her leadership journey began at St. Mary’s College, and as Superintendent, she became a strong advocate for educational reform and workforce development. She regularly engaged with elected officials and business partners to drive significant legislative changes and testified in Sacramento on the importance of workforce development funding for both education and the economy.

Achievements

Secured over $15 million in grant funding for educational programs.

Founded a coalition to influence legislative change in workforce development.

Led the Silicon Valley CTE Center to be recognized as a state-wide Model of Excellence.

Jim Canova brings over three decades of unparalleled expertise in advocacy, lobbying, and public service. His distinguished career includes key leadership roles on the Santa Clara Unified School District Governing Board and the MetroED - Silicon Valley Career Technical Education Governing Board, where he collaborated with 11 superintendents to drive transformative initiatives. Notably, Jim was instrumental in pioneering the first teacher housing development in the nation and successfully navigated the passage of over $1 billion in infrastructure bonds to improve educational facilities in Silicon Valley.

Cultivated strong relationships at federal, state, and local government levels to advocate for sustainable funding for career technical education.
